Day 13 - Bored

Sometime in July...
I was bored and lonely and decided to embrace this loneliness and turn it into plain and simple... ''aloneness''. ;) Off I went, to the movies. I was hesitant, because I wasn't sure if I would make it on time and let's face it, there are two types of people in this world: people who like previews at the movies and others who don't. I love previews and a generally well-rounded movie experience. I made it halfway through the previews and although it wasn't my first choice, I saw Salt. It was an overall ok action movie.
I then made my way to Chapters.
I spent most of my time in the mystery section, with a quick trip to comedy, where I read a bit of Kathy Griffin's memoir, (I actually want to buy it, because I love here show My Life on the D List and have heard really good things about her book). I ultimately made my way back to Mystery before hitting the cash with 2 books in hand. Janet Evanovich's One For the Money and Two For the Dough are part of the Stephanie Plum series and, having read most of the first book, I can say that it is not the most intellectual of reads, but t remains entertaining, as it presents the perfect marriage of suspense and comedy. I also found out that there are 16 books in this series so far. In the first book, we follow Plum as she, finding herself broke, becomes a bounty hunter.
A day by myself wasn't so bad after all, and it happened to be relaxing. Do you!
p.s. I made the bookmark
